Family Support Programs
Recognizing the impact of military service on families, we will offer family therapy, caregiver support groups, parenting, healthy foods, weight loss, exercises, and educational workshops to help families navigate challenges and strengthen their support systems.
Creation Care
God has given us creation to nurture us and for us to nurture creation. When we nurture creation with our time and attention, it enhances mediation and mindfulness that nurtures our spirit, mind and body. Ecotherapy refreshes and reenergizes us. Gardening is an important part of ecotherapy that we do.
First Christian Black Natural Hair Celebration
This is a Christian based socio-cultural celebration that began in 2023. It is an event to remind the younger generation that God made us unique with our Black hair, and for us to love and care for it to show forth God’s glory.
First Christian Black Natural Hair Loss
This is a Christian based socio-cultural online event that began in 2024. It seeks to address shame, guilt and grief when we loose our hair. The webinars teach coping methods in face of loss of hair or any other kinds of loss that we may experience in our lives.
Veterans Care Time
This is care time for our Veterans to be appreciated, honored, supported, and loved. This time includes a listening session, mental health coaching, and games.
